About MCES

In celebration of its 20th anniversary, MC Environmental Services presented Kim Cook, Executive Director of the Open Door Mission, with a check for $2,500 at the organization's first annual Fundraising Dinner in October, 2015.

The Open Door has been dedicated to meeting the hunger needs of the greater Glens Falls community since 1991, when it began by serving one meal a week. Since then, it has expanded its meal offerings to six days, while initiating new programs, including one that sends at risk children home from school on Fridays with a backpack full of nutritious foods.

In 2013, they opened the Glens Falls Code Blue Shelter, aimed at protecting individuals who are living unsheltered during periods of extreme cold or precipitation. In the first two seasons, more than 100 people were temporarily housed through this program.

MC Environmental Services, Inc. is proud to support the Open Door Mission, and we are grateful for the vital work they do to assist our neighbors and enhance our community. If you'd like to know more about them, please visit: www.opendoor-ny.org

MC Environmental Services appreciates the opportunity to serve our customers and the Open Door Mission.

MC Environmental Services, Inc. has been providing residential, commercial, industrial and institutional clients with comprehensive environmental services since 1995.

Mike Craft, Chief Operations Officer and namesake of the company, has worked for more than 20 years in the environmental field, running jobs ranging from the removal of residential heating oil tanks to $500,000 remediation projects on behalf of multi-national corporations. Prior to that, he spent sixteen years at GE Plastics, ultimately managing all maintenance activities in two of the facility's chemical plants. Mike brings this wealth of knowledge and experience to each new project undertaken by MC Environmental Services, Inc.

The company's president, Dee Dee Diccicco-Craft, handles the marketing, customer service and administrative aspects of the business. A chemical engineer and former GE employee who also served as Director of a local solid waste management authority, Dee Dee brings both professional and technical skills to the company. When not preparing reports or coordinating various components of an upcoming project, she's talking with current and prospective customers; understanding their requirements; answering their questions and providing re-assurance to those who may be facing an environmental issue for the first time.

Aided by a full-time staff of highly experienced environmental service technicians, trained seasonal employees, a network of well-established disposal facilities and local sub-contractors, MCES continues to tackle a wide range of projects for customers in a variety of market segments.

With the addition of its state of the art Air Vacuum Excavation System, MCES is now equipped to support the utility industry, developers and construction companies in their efforts to safely and efficiently work on or near underground utilities and piping.

If there is an environmental project in your future, an upcoming job which will require work around sub-surface utilities, or you just want to know more about what MC Environmental Services can offer, please contact us. We welcome the opportunity to be of service!
